We’re pleased as punch to announce that Renegade Monk is one of just ten cheeses shortlisted for the Great British Food Awards 2018.

We’re in pretty illustrious company, competing against the likes of Colston Bassett’s Shropshire Blue, Cropwell Bishop’s Stilton and Keen’s Cheddar. They’ve all been producing for years so it’s a thrill to be included as a young upstart.

A sample of Renegade Monk has now been sent to Michel Roux Jr. at Le Gavroche for final tasting and judging. We’ll hear the results later in the autumn.
