Our first cheese fair – and what a couple of days it’s been. Matthew, the organiser, was most welcoming – what a gent (seen in the picture above).

Penny, of course, had beautified the stall – with some geraniums hastily purchased from a nearby Lidl (yes, Lidl has reached Melton Mowbray):
We brought all the stock we had – but 174 cheeses simply wasn’t enough and we had to pack up early, just three hours into the second day. Oh well, we know what to expect next year…
